The Best Views in West Chester

I would not describe the terrain of West Chester as being overly hilly, sloped, or containing high elevations. However, there are certain locations in West Chester that have the most beautiful views. You don’t need to hop into your Jeep and scale a mountain to get a great sunrise.

Below are my favorite West Chester area locations to get a million-dollar view:

1. Shiloh Rd. in Westtown Twp.

Driving Southeast on Shiloh Rd. right about the cross between Shiloh and Hunt Dr., you’ll catch a great sunrise at the right time of morning.

2. Freedom Rider Trail in Thornbury Twp.

Walking out of a friend’s house one night, I discovered a million-dollar view. Freedom Rider Trl in Glen Mills, just off of 926, sits atop of a peak, and you can see for miles. It’s a peaceful view that should be taken in at least once if you catch yourself on that side of town early in the morning.

3. S. High Street Parking Garage

The South High Street parking garage sits across from Barnaby’s. If you go to the top floor on a clear night, you’ll see one of the most beautiful Chester County sunsets.
